Restoring, Repairing and Repurposing
Restoring old furniture is a great way to bring old pieces back to life. A quality build piece of furniture could have plenty of life left, but might have the misfortune of being very, very ugly.
There's no need to buy something new when you can have the old piece either restored to its original look, or, repurpose it with a new color or look. Expensive dining tables, shelves, dressers - all can be found for cheap, and sometimes free!
A repaired real wood dresser with dovetail drawers will always be better quality than a particle board cutout from a big box store.
